Looking to find a mobile home for rent? They can be tricky to find. That’s why MHVillage has several tools on the site to make it easier. In this article we will show you how to quickly find rental homes in your area.
Where you want to live can determine how many manufactured and mobile homes for rent there are on the market. Some warm weather states like Florida, Arizona and California have areas where many homes are available, as they have large populations of vacationers and snowbirds. Other areas may not have as many. We’ll show you how to find homes, and then use the MHVillage tools to narrow down the listings to exactly what you are looking for. If you are in an area with fewer available mobile homes, we’ll show you how to easily set up an alert so you are emailed the minute one comes on the market.
To start your search go to www.mhvillage.com and use the Find Homes for Rent tool on the left side of the web page. Clicking the link will take you to an Advanced Search page. This will let you search by city, state or zip code. You can also modify your search and look for homes in specific types of communities. But here’s a hint: start your search as broadly as possible. By casting the widest net, you are going to get the greatest results. Once you have a list of all the available homes in your area, then you can start narrowing it down. We make it easy – every page of results has drop down menus at the top that will let you sort your search however you want.
But what if there aren’t any homes for rent in your area that you are interested in? Set up an Ideal Home Search! On the bottom of most search pages, you will see a round red icon of a home and a magnifying glass. This is where you set up your alerts. You enter in the kind of home you are looking for – and MHVillage will email you the minute a home matching that description is added to the site! It is simple and easy to use and you can add or remove your searches at any time.
Once you find a home you are interested in, the contact information for the landlord is right on the listing. Call or email them to ask more questions about the home and set up an appointment to view it.
